Photo dating online

Or discovering that the woman you’ve been chatting to isn’t quite the spring chicken her photo would imply.
Remember, online dating isn’t about creating a fantasy version of yourself – it’s a way to meet people with whom you can build a genuine relationship.
That said, I’ve always held onto this one photography maxim in regards to online dating profiles: Which is why it baffles me that people take professional headshots and then put up a few god-awful mug shots drunkenly taken on a webcam. That kind of stuff, which reveals a personality that pro shots tend to obscure….
Anyone who clicks through is going to assume that you look like the drunkard, not the professional. And when you get your pro shots, just put up two of them – one close-up as your primary picture, and one full-body shot as your fourth or fifth picture.
It’s all very well posing for hours on end for the perfect picture, or editing your favourite photo on your computer, but that’s not who you really are. People on dating sites want to see the real you and both parties are much more likely to be pleased with what they see when you meet face to face if you’ve both posted images that show you as you are.
Your profile pic should portray you as someone who’d make a good partner, so make sure you look comfortable. A good guideline would be a picture of you wearing the sort of thing you would choose to wear on a first date.
As life gets more hectic, more people are turning to online dating.
There are so many people looking for love online now that you don’t have to exaggerate – be yourself and someone will adore you just the way you are.But first impressions are everything, so it’s important that your picture says the right things about you. With a profile picture, quality is everything, and it’s important that viewers of your page can see what you really look like.Take a look here for even more techniques to make your profile photo turn heads.
I’m 24, and I’ve always seemed to have good luck with online dating.
But if it means getting a clear, digital, close-up of you smiling with your hair and makeup done just right, I wholeheartedly endorse it.
